The window Vernal has kept coming back to.
Spoof's has poured coffee on Main Street for thirty years. In our own words, we are "locally owned, serving the Uintah Basin delicious coffee and beverages for thirty amazing years." That is the whole idea, still.
The window ritual
Long before the drive-thru hut, Spoof's was already part of Vernal's morning. Today it is the same routine: pull up, pick your cup off the sill, and roll on. Reviewers keep reaching for the same three words, fast, friendly, and cheap, and that is exactly the window we want to be.
One traveler wrote that a 20oz coffee was only $2.25. Another simply said, "skip the Starbucks and hit up this place instead." We will take it.
A big patio, and room for the dog
It is a drive-up, but the patio is large, with tables to sit at when the weather is good. Dogs are part of the routine here, and a pup cup is on the house for a good one. When someone can't use the drive-thru, the walk-up window has them covered.
And because we are on Main, we catch both crowds: the locals who have come for years, and the travelers fueling up before Dinosaur National Monument.
Pull up on Main and we will get you going.
Drive-thru, walk-up window, or a seat on the patio. We open early and we keep it quick. The board changes with the seasons, so it is always worth asking at the window what is on today.
